Richard H. Koltz

Richard H. Koltz, 77, of Bozeman passed away on August 30, 2025. Services will be held in Beaver Dam, WI on October 11th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with inurnment at Oak Grove Cemetery. Dahl Funeral and Cremation Service has been entrusted with cremation.

Dick was born in Rockford, IL on October 16, 1947, to Howard C. and Viola (Hobson) Koltz. After completing school, he served in the 101st Airborne in the Army serving a one-year tour in Vietnam. Upon returning he would marry the love of his life Janet Zahn on October 24, 1970. The two would remain together for the next 41 years until her passing on June 28, 2021.

Dick would spend his entire working career in Dodge County Wisconsin in the Maintanance and printing departments until retirement. After that he could be found gardening, raising strawberries and vegetables that he sold to the public for 15 years.

Dick is survived by his sons, Daniel (Rebecca) Koltz of Bozeman, and Duane Koltz of Eden, WI, and grandchildren, Abigail, Caleb, Seth, Kyle, and Cody.

He goes on to join his beloved wife Janet as well as children, Debbie and Doreen Koltz.
