Reuben Lantz

Reuben Ezra Lantz, 90, of Manhattan, passed away September 27, 2008, from multiple organ failure. He was born August 5, 1918 in Great Falls, MT, the youngest son of Joseph and Rosina (Schlatter) Lantz. He was raised and educated in Great Falls, MT. After his graduation from high school he attended Northwest Bible College in Seattle, WA. Reuben married Esther Ruby Dickhoff on June 30, 1961 in Fairfield, MT. The couple made their home in Great Falls; together they raised their son Stephen Owen Lantz. Reuben and Esther moved to Manhattan, MT in 2005 to be near their son. During his life he worked as a carpenter and supervised several building projects. He owned several businesses in Choteau, Dayton and Great Falls. When Reuben wasn#8217;t working he was repairing and restoring many old items. Reuben was a quiet, sensitive man, with a deep love for God; he was a loving father and husband. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Phoebe Borgstrom, Rhoda Jones, and Jess Lantz. Survivors include his wife Esther of Manhattan, MT; son Stephen of Bozeman, MT; granddaughter Sarah Lantz of Bozeman,MT; nieces and nephews Paul Jones Jr., David Jones, Jim Lantz, Joe Lantz, Jeri Anna Logan and six grand nieces and nephews. Per Reubens wishes services are not planned at this time. Memorials may be made in his name to the Central Assembly of God Church, 2001 Central Ave, Great Falls, MT, 59401
