Patricia Watts, 91, of Belgrade, MT, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Edgewood Vista in Belgrade.
Pat was born December 7, 1931, in Billings, MT, to John Plenger and Theresa (Sohm) Plenger. She graduated from high school in Roundup, MT. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Watts, January 15, 1952. They enjoyed 49 years of marriage, raising five children in Bozeman. Pat worked as a full-time mother and care provider for her family. Her interests included gardening, baking, sewing, and anything outdoors. Pat was especially fond of cats, dogs, and birds, in that order. Pat was a faithful parishioner at St. John Vianney Catholic Church for over 25 years. She will be fondly remembered for her beautiful smile and, mostly, her kind heart.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and her parents. She is survived by her children, Brad Watts, Pam (Clifford) Schimpff, Darryl Watts, Gail Watts, and Cynthia Watts; grandchildren, Chrissy (Destry) Jacobs, Carly Krystkowiak, Aly Krystkowiak, Pamela Knox, Jennifer, Sonek, Meredith Carlson, and Robert Carlson; two great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
A Vigil Service will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023, 6:00 p.m., at Dahl Funeral & Cremation Service, 300 Highland Blvd, Bozeman. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 5, 2023, 12:00 p.m., at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 609 N. Quaw Blvd, Belgrade. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Bozeman.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Edgewood Vista for their loving care of Patricia, as well as the staff from Enhabit Hospice.
