Patricia Ann Stackhouse, 83, of Bozeman, MT, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, surrounded by her adoring family.
Pat was born on August 27, 1941, in Wabash County, Indiana, to Paul and Gladys Shanahan. She was raised in Urbana, and graduated from Central High School in North Manchester, IN, with the class of 1959. The following year she married Larry Stackhouse on August 7th in Servia, Indiana. They raised a family and spent the next 64 and ½ years together.
Pat worked as a Paraprofessional/Teacher’s Aide for Special Education in the Bozeman school district for 23 years. She was also an avid and talented quilter, belonging to several quilt guilds. She was very involved in statewide and local 4-H programs where she won many awards including: Montana, Western & National Outstanding 4-H leader, Montana 4-H Foundation Hall of Fame, Gallatin County 4-H Lifetime Achievement Award, and State 4-H State Ambassadors Advisor Appreciation Award. Pat lived life to the fullest & was always up for anything. She never knew a stranger and was always the life of the party. When she wasn't quilting, Pat loved to travel & enjoyed spending time at the beach.
Pat will be deeply missed by her family & all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Stackhouse; son, Doug Stackhouse; daughter, Amy (Fish) Fisher; grandchildren, Riley Fisher; Madison (Sam) Bradbury, and Colby Fisher; great- grandchildren, Charlies Bradbury, Benjamin Bradbury, Azariah Bradbury, Selah Bradbury; and another great-grandchild arriving in October. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Gladys Shanahan; and brother, Richard (Sandra) Shanahan.

A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m., at the Best Western GranTree Inn, 1325 North 7th Avenue, Bozeman, MT 59715.
