Pamela Elayne (Foster) Allsop age 67 of Gallatin Gateway passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital surrounded by her family.
Pam was born in Lewistown, Montana on December 21, 1949 to Francis Eugene Foster and Ada Lee (Smith). Early in life, she moved to the rural area north of Belgrade. She attended and graduated Belgrade School. While in high school she met Earl (Bill) Allsop. They married May 28, 1969 and made their home in Gallatin Gateway. Pam and Bill had two children, Charlie and Tammy. Pam lived in Gallatin Gateway until her death.
Pam was active in her community. She was a former member of the Willing Workers Ladies Aid and an EMT for the Gallatin Gateway Volunteer fire Department. She drove bus for the Gallatin Gateway School for several years. Pam enjoyed teaching the neighborhood kids how to fish. One of her hobbies was her cows, which brought her great pleasure. Pam was a country girl at heart.
Pam was a loving Mother and spouse and was a fierce protector of her children. She enjoyed attending their school events. Pam enjoyed outdoors activities especially with her kids and grandkids.
After recovering from addiction, she invested many more years helping others overcome their addictions. This was a very important part of her life and she was very dedicated to this. Pam had an impact on many
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Elmer Lee and Keith Eugene Foster
Pam is survived by her husband, Bill: one son, Charlie (Debbie) Allsop and their children Tanner (Emily) Allsop and Katie (James) Kibler: one daughter Tammy (Lonnie) Sturgis and their children Jake and Travis Sturgis; two great grandchildren Shae Allsop and Clayton Kibler; two brothers, John (Wynona) Foster and Tom (Faith) Foster.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at the Bridge Church at Gallatin Gateway, Montana with Rev Sean Stevenson and Rev Curtis Crow officiating. Dahl’s Funeral Home of Bozeman is entrusted with arrangements. Donations in Pam’s name maybe given to the Gallatin Gateway AA Group and the Willing Workers Ladies Aid.
