Michael Robert Stock was born August 15, 1951 in Butte, Montana, to Robert Fredrick Stock and Sally Anne Rose Stock.
Michael spent his young years in Peru and Chile as the son of a copper miner, loved scouts and baseball. He attended middle school at Campion Jesuit in Wisconsin, then moved to Granite Falls, Washington to graduate from Phil Chuck High school in 1969.
He enjoyed farming in Montana, taking trips to his favorite place - Hawaii, coaching softball, and skiing in Bozeman where he bought a home and created a family with his love Sonya Horyna and their daughter, Ashley.
Mike enjoyed horses, riding the back country, camping, fishing, most things that the beautiful Montana mountains have to offer. He was quite a story teller and loved engaging in conversations of all kinds but became very passionate about politics and religion. Quiet time for Mike meant listening to old rock and roll for hours, reminiscing about the good old days, and was a tremendous source of rock trivia.
Michael is survived by his sister, Julie Stock Porter, brother Chris Bonneu, daughter Ashley Stock, Sonya Horyna, Nephew Corey Grace, nieces Jessica Larson, Kristie Blackford, great nieces and nephew Asa, Emily, Madison, and James Blackford.
