Michael Lynn Spencer

Michael Lynn Spencer, 79, passed away on January 19, 2026, at Spring Creek Inn Memory Care Community in Bozeman, Montana.

Michael was born in 1946 in Rushville, Nebraska. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and later worked as a plumber, a trade he approached with dedication and skill. A true craftsman, Michael was known for his uncanny ability to fix almost anything, an expression of both his ingenuity and perseverance.

He made his home in Lewis and Clark County (Helena and Lincoln), where he enjoyed bird hunting, fly fishing, and woodworking. He had a deep love for bird dogs, especially Tika, McGregor, and Alf, who were constant companions in the field and an important part of his life.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca, and his brother, Jeff, of Powell, Wyoming. He will be remembered for his craftsmanship, quiet determination, and resourcefulness.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no service.
