Louise Getz

Louise Getz, age 85, of Bozeman MT, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, Jan 27, 2026, at her residence in the Bozeman Lodge, attended by her husband and daughter.

Louise was born in 1940 in Lehighton PA. She married Marlyn (Joe) Getz in 1957 in Palmerton PA. Together they raised 4 children and lived in Pa for 40 years. They enjoyed traveling and visited most states before retiring and moving to Ennis MT. They were married for 68 years.

Louise enjoyed several hobbies, among them, making stained glass lamp shades and quilting, and she enjoyed playing with her 2 dachshunds Willie and Maddy. She was active in the Ennis Art Association. She will be remembered for her positive qualities - kindness, humor, and generosity.

She is survived by her husband Joe and 4 children, Gail and Kathy in MT, and Lance and Mark in PA; and 3 sisters Maggie, Maryellen and Lois in PA; 4 grand children, and 5 great grand children.
