Gretchen Mcneely

Dr. Gretchen McNeely went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 17, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three siblings. She is survived by her daughter and son and their families including many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a brother and a sister.

Gretchen was a nurse who had her RN, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees. She worked in the nursing field much of her life, and was the Associate Dean of Nursing at Montana State University in Bozeman for many years. She loved to work with and encourage the students in that field.  

In her spare time, she loved working with her hands and enjoyed doing many kinds of arts and crafts.  

Gretchen was a member of Springhill Presbyterian Church in Bozeman.
