Faye Hargis Case passed away on January 24, 2017 in Bozeman, Montana. She was born to Henry and Dorothy McElwee on March 17, 1942 in Livingston.
Her family lived in Wilsall, where she attended primary, middle, and high school. In 1961 she married Ben Hargis and together they raised a son and daughter until his death in 1978. Faye married Wallace Case in 1984. She was a loving wife and mother, and eventually grandmother and great grandmother.
Faye was involved in the Park County Pioneers Society and loved cribbage, pinochle, fishing, and camping. She loved spending time with her dogs and is remembered most for her quick wit and wry sense of humor.
She is preceded in death by her husband’s Ben Hargis and Wallace Case. Faye is survived by Tim and Carrie Hargis of Bozeman, and Julie and Jim Crisswell of Benedict, Kansas; grandchildren Ray and Kate Croisetiere and their daughter Peyton of Gillette, Wyoming, and Marcia and Ben Hargis of Glasgow, Scotland.
Faye will be laid to rest at the Wilsall Cemetery on Wednesday, February 1st at 1:00 p.m. followed by a coffee hour at the Park County Senior Center in Livingston at 2 p.m.
