On February 6th, 2026, at 9:20 pm, the world lost a gem.
Deborah Anne Sizemore was born on October 28th, 1955, in Los Angeles, California. She moved to Chicago, Illinois, when she was still a small child. She endured many trials in life with a strong mind and an even stronger character. Deb was an activist who marched for equality, human rights, and love. A flower child by her own definition. She had four children: Richard, Christopher, and Karen Dumas with her first husband, and then met the love of her life, John Henry Sizemore, in the early 80s, and had Amanda Sizemore (Dickson) in 1988.
In 1998, she and John moved to Bozeman, Montana, with then 10-year-old Amanda to start anew in this most beautiful place.
John became disabled just a few years later, and Deb spent the next two decades taking care of him, their daughter, and her grandson Brian Leary. She worked three jobs for many years to keep them afloat. Raising Amanda and Brian together and later helping her daughter raise her three children.
Deborah was a quiet force to be reckoned with. She was an avid reader and collector of beautiful, simple things.
In 2006, she went back to her education and earned her GED at the age of 56.
She spent the rest of her years with her family here in Bozeman, loving her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Deborah was preceded in death by her Mother, Jo Ann Muller; brother, Duane Muller; and her husband of 30-plus years, John Henry Sizemore. She is survived by her children: Richard Dumas, Christopher Dumas, Karen Dumas, and Amanda Sizemore (Dickson); her son-in-law, Thomas Dickson; her grandchildren, Ashley Fowler, Damien Dumas, Cailyn Dumas, Anthony Mills, Brian Leary, Henry Coble, Malea Coble, and Rosalyn Dickson; her great-granddaughter, Juliette Fowler; her brother, Allan Muller; and her sister, Tina Mosher.
She lived her life with love and left this world with love. She will be missed deeply and remembered always.
