Dawn Huot

Dawn Hout passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 23, 2025. She was born on December 11, 1964, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Dawn lived in Louisville until she moved with her mom out West and then settled in Montana. She is survived by her loving husband Jeff, of 28 years; sons, Jon and Josh Rios; daughter, Crystal Morales; grandchildren, Jon Rios Jr. and Miranda Morales; her sisters, Melanie Driscoll and Andi Duerod; and her father, Glenn Allen Owen. She is predeceased by her mother, Marcia Parrish; sister, Julie Rogers; and brother, Alex Carey.

She loved photography and creating jewelry, as seen online where she shared picturesque scenic photos and her unique wire and stone custom jewelry. Dawn was a loving person with a good soul who always asked what Jeff, or anyone needed or wanted.

Dawn spent 25 years working at Costco, where she made lasting friendships. She was appreciated by coworkers for always giving a helping hand and her kind heart. She was a wise mentor to many. She moved in an upbeat, positive manner with a goal to send that vibe to others to make work easier.

She was always smiling, and was the most understanding person. If someone was mad or upset, Dawn was sure to say, “you don't know what they’re going through.”
