Darleen McMillan, 91, of Belgrade, MT, passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 13, 2026. Darleen was born and grew up in the Gallatin Gateway, Belgrade, and Manhattan areas.

Darleen McMillan is survived by three sons, including Herb (Rae) Krushensky Jr. of CA; Jerry (Donna) Krushensky of NV; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She went to school in a one-room schoolhouse, which was called the Highline School for four years. She then went to Manhattan, then to Belgrade High School. During this time, she helped her father and mother out on the farm. Later she met and married Herbert Krushensky Sr., who was in the service at the time. They had three kids together. They did quite a bit of travelling during their marriage. She later married Warren A. McMillan. They lived in Manhattan for a while, then moved and settled in Belgrade, caring for livestock. During their time together, they owned the Broken Arrow bar in Manhattan, MT, where they made lifelong friends. They bought property on the Bozeman Pass where they mostly enjoyed their later years. This is where she took her last breath on her own terms. After Warren McMillan's passing, she became more involved in the Eagles and the Elks clubs. This is where she met even more various friends and became heavily involved in related community activities. Darleen was in the Eagles for more than twenty years, and at the time of her passing, she was the Women’s Auxiliary #326 Madam President. She had been chosen as the Hall of Fame award winner for the Bozeman auxiliary. She also volunteered at the Gallatin Valley Historical Museum. Gallatin County history was one of her great hobbies.

Darleen McMillan was preceded in death by her mother, Lila Hays; father, Carl Erickson Sr.; her first husband, Herbert R. Krushensky; second husband, Warren A. McMillan; sisters, Jeanetta Covey, Ernie Krumenacker, Carlene Clark, Alberta Bacus; and brothers, Marvin Donahue, Carl Erickson Jr., Sonny Donahue.
