Patricia 'Patty' Ann Sturdevant

Patricia Ann Sturdevant died on February 19, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born February 13, 1937 in Breckenridge, MN to Theodore and Amelia Jaeger. She resided for many years in North Dakota and Minnesota. In her later years she moved to Bozeman, MT to be close to family, but Mooreton, ND was always considered her home She married Robert Sturdevant in 1958 in Mooreton, ND. The couple had three children. Following her high school graduation Patty was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Wahpeton and Fargo ND where she served as a supervisor. Patty’s wonderful people skills led her to the hotel management industry. Her caring nature led her to a position in healthcare, from which she eventually retired. Patty loved spending time at the lakes in Minnesota. She also found great joy in decorating her home wherever she resided. She loved sharing her ideas with friends and family. Patty enjoyed traveling as well. Visiting her sister and family in Bothell WA was always a favorite. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, spouses, and grandchildren, Bruce and Kristi Sturdevant, Walkersville, MD. Mary and Lance Fuchs, Bismarck, ND, and Linda and Jim Simkins, Bozeman, MT, and her nine grandchildren, and their families, Josh and Gabe Sturdevant, Trista and Jim Mohr, Nicole and Sarah Fuchs, Heather, Brittany, Amanda, and Jessica Simkins. Patty has one great grandchild Jordan Mohr. She has one surviving sister Carmen Steiner and her husband Robert, Bothell, WA, and their children Michael Steiner, Lynn Knox, Lisa Engel, and her special sister in law and husband Sharon and Dick Holmstrom. She will always be in our loving thoughts and forever in our hearts. Funeral Services will be held February 24 , 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 220 W. Main in Bozeman, MT at 10:00 am.
