Patricia 'Pat' A. Trunk Sheldon

Patricia “Pat” A. Trunk Sheldon passed away Sept. 27, 2014. She was born April 14, 1934 in Townsend, MT to Harold and Evelyn (Congdon) Phillips. Pat was the oldest of four sisters and the one in charge. She graduated from Gallatin High School in Bozeman, MT where she was a member of the shooting team. She worked for: Trunk & Sons Plumbing, which was sold in 1970; Don Larson Accounting Firm; Metropolitan Mortgage; and then a realtor in Washington until 2000. Pat enjoyed reading, watching sports, and loving her puppies. While living in Washington, she volunteered at her church and played in the bell choir. She will be remembered most for her loyalty and honesty. Pat was preceded in death by her first husband Frank “Joe” J. Trunk Jr. in 1993 and her second husband Delbert P. Sheldon on April 4, 2014. She is survived by her three children: Frank “Joe” J. Trunk III of Houston, TX, Gerald G. (Lenore Marks) Trunk of Monmouth, OR, and Kerri (John) Payne of Gallatin Gateway, MT; sisters Mary (Bob) Fulcher of Prescott, AZ, Betty Metcalf of Three Forks, MT, and Judy Anselmo of Spokane, WA; three grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at Dahl Funeral Chapel at 12:45 pm to process to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Pat’s name to the Willamette Humane Society, 4246 Turner Rd. SE, Salem, OR 97317 or to Heron Pointe, 504 Gwinn St. E., Monmouth, OR 97361.
