Ole F. Olson, 85, of Bozeman passed away Monday, December 28, 2009. Ole was born December 7, 1924 in Sherbrook, North Dakota to Ole F. and Myrtle (Thomas) Olson, and spent his life working as a bridge and road engineer for the Department of Transportation. He was an Army Corporal during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly J. Olson, daughter Debbie Olson, son Robert Olson, and siblings, Marian, Ruby, Tommy, Vernon, and Eleanor. Survivors include his children, Tom (Becky) Olson of Hamilton, MT, Bruce Olson of Banning, CA, Marilyn (Dave) Olson Burns of Lewistown, MT, Dennis (Vickie) Olson of Saugus, CA, Lorraine (Jim) Smith, and Leon (Eleanor) Gover; his companion of 20 years, Audrey Gover; siblings, Inga Birkeland and Vivian (Dennis) Thomas, both of Spearfish, SD; and grandchildren, Jody, Mariah, Christopher, Christy, Ashley, Michael, Jeff, Heather, Ole, Whitney, Amy, Casey, Zane, and Dennis. Memorials in Ole#8217;s name may be made to the American Legion Post 87, 218 E Main, Manhattan, MT 59741. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Dahl Funeral Chapel, with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Dahl Funeral Chapel, followed by interment with military honors at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
