Norma Madan

August 15, 1944 — May 7, 2011

Norma Eileen (Talbot) Madan of Three Forks passed into the arms of Jesus on May 7, 2011 surrounded by her daughters, sister, and husband. Norma was born August 15, 1944 in Eagle Pass, Texas. She graduated from Mr. Mack's Beauty College, which started her lifelong love of cosmetology. Norma worked in Bozeman for over 30 years teaching and mentoring at the Academy of Cosmetology. Norma also enjoyed many activities including fishing, pinochle, playing in a pool league, bowling leagues, singing karaoke, and she loved to dance. Because of her love of the mountains, her ashes will be sprinkled at her favorite fishing hole. She always lit up a room when she walked in. Norma seemed to know everyone. She loved jewelry and has passed that love on to her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Sam McQuiston. She is survived by her husband, Ken; children, Chauntelle (Don) Prince, Theresa (Steve) Hruska, Kim Smolinsky, and Teresa Rogers; mother, Dorothy McQuiston; siblings, Maria Smith, Linda (Pat) Stanley, Ron (Jodie) McQuiston, and Maynard (Carol) McQuiston; grandchildren, Joshua, Megan, Dominic, Eddie, Tiffany, Nicholas, and Colton; three great-grandchildren and many friends and extended family. Norma's love and laughter will be missed. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. There will be a lunch reception at the Ruby Theater, 210 S. Main, in Three Forks following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ken Madan c/o Kathy Madan, 611 N. Willson, Bozeman, MT 59715 to help with medical expenses.
