Nina Morin

Nina Claudine Morin, 87, of Bozeman, passed away June 1, 2008 in Billings. She was born May 3, 1921 to George Lee and Gladys (Chandler) Chesnut, in Bozeman. Nina grew up in Bozeman, graduating from Gallatin County High School. She worked at JCPenney, Bennett Travel Agency, Montgomery Wards, as well as working at a retail establishment in Portland, Oregon for a number of years. On July 7, 1956, she married Donald E. Morin in Whitehall, Montana. Nina loved to travel. She had been to Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, and all over the Western United States, as well as various entertainment places in Las Vegas. Nina is survived by her husband, Donald, of Bozeman, sister Sammy Lee Weyand, sister-in-law Dorothy Chesnut; two nieces, Toni Lee Weyand and Marcia Schmidt, and two nephews, Michael Chesnut and Ronald Chesnut. Also, a special thank you to niece Deedee Pearce of Billings who was a tremendous help to both Nina and Don during their stay in Billings. She always brought a smile to Nina#8217;s face. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Virgil George Chesnut, and her two toy poodles, Putter and Sissy. A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM, June 5, 2008 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00. There will be a reception following the service at Aspen Point. Private family inurnment will take place later. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one#8217;s choice.
