Matthew 'Matt' Scott Kidney

Matthew “Matt” Scott Kidney, 35, of Belgrade, passed away on April 1, 2015. He was born on September 3, 1979 in Wausau, Wisconsin to Kim and Sharon (Beaupre) Kidney. At an early age his family moved to Bozeman and he was educated at Irving Elementary and Bozeman High, before his family moved to California. He graduated from Rocklin High School and earned Associates Degree in both Accounting and Marketing from Sierra College in Rocklin, CA. Matt fell in love at an early age and after a 9 year courtship, married Jennifer Beals in 2006. The couple were blessed with two boys, Hunter and Gavin. He moved back to Bozeman with his family in 2002. He had worked in Human Resources for the USDA, NRCS since. Matt loved Montana and the outdoors; especially hunting, backpacking, fishing, and BBQing. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and tolerated living with Raider, Seahawk and Dolphin fans. Football season was always exiting. Matt will be remembered for his love and devotion to his sons, Hunter and Gavin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert & Joyce Kidney and Delner & Myrtle Beaupre. Survivors include his wife Jennifer “Jen”, his two sons Hunter and Gavin all of Belgrade; his parents Kim and Sharon of Green Bay, WI; his brother and sister-in-law Keith & Brietta; his niece and nephew Wyatt & Sierra all of Minot, ND; plus numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins all mostly in the Green Bay/Milwaukee regions of Wisconsin. A Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Dahl Funeral Chapel.
