Mary Ann Staudinger

Mary Ann Staudinger passed away December 31, 2014. She was born July 24, 1935 in Hebron, ND to Eugene and Albertina (Zentner) Kearns. As a young girl, Mary Ann was called “Skippy” and “Carrot Top”. She was raised in Hebron, ND and married James Staudinger on November 22, 1954. The couple later moved to Bozeman, MT. Mary Ann loved to sew. She was a homemaker and sewed all of her children’s clothes. She worked as an Assistant Chef at Bozeman’s Wilson and Irving Schools for 20 years. She was a real people person and a self-starter. Mary Ann was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Jim; son, Dale; brothers, Raymond, Ted and Lloyd; and sisters, Caroline and Ida. She is survived by: her children, Steve Staudinger of Denver, CO and Sandy (Randy) Herbst of Manhattan, MT; sisters, Gladys (Earl) Voeltz of Walla Walla, WA and Lorraine (Matt) Kronberger of Bismarck, ND; grandchildren, Darin Staudinger of Bozeman, Travis (Andrea) Poser of Belgrade, Jamie (Derrick) Fetters of Belgrade and Roy (Lauren Beck) Poser of Belgrade; and great-grandchild Jensen Poser of Belgrade. Visitation will be held from 3:30 – 5:30 pm followed by a Rosary and Vigil Service at 5:30 pm, both at Dahl Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 16, 2014. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, January, 17, 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, followed by interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Mary Ann’s name to Holy Rosary Catholic Church (220 W. Main St., Bozeman, MT 59715) or to Rocky Mountain Hospice (301 Edelweiss Dr., Suites 5 and 6, Bozeman, MT 59718). The family would like to thank Spring Creek Inn for the care they gave Mary Ann, as well as, Rocky Mountain Hospice for their support.
