Margaret Harker Heppler

Margaret Harker Heppler, 91, of Bozeman, formerly of Missoula, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012. She was born September 22, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles and Ella (Parker) Harker. Margaret married Mack Garth Heppler in Salt Lake City, they moved to Missoula in from 1940 to 1944, then again in 1946. They lived in Missoula for over 63 years. In addition to being a homemaker, she owned her own fabric shop “The House of Wool” for 21 years. She volunteered at St Patrick’s Hospital and Guild for over 19 years, and volunteered as a librarian in the genealogy library at the C of JC of LDS. Margaret was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Daughters of the Nile, President of the Elks Ladies, and mother of the DeMolay. She had the privilege of traveling to 17 countries. She was preceded in death by her husband Garth Heppler. Survivors include her son and daughter in law Lynn and Frances Heppler of Belgrade; four grandsons and their spouses Eric and JoAnne of Freedom, WY, Aaron and Elizabeth of Manhattan, MT, Michael and Amy of Spokane, WA, Mark and Marie of Clearfield, UT; 12 great grandchildren; a brother Robert Harker of Bountiful, UT. The Dedication of the Grave will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Missoula, MT. Meet at 10:15 am at Sunset Funeral Home on the cemetery grounds to process to the grave. Memorials may be made in her name to Shriners’ Children’s Hospital, Attn: Memorial Dept., P.O.
