Lisa Redfield

September 6, 1960 – July 2, 2015

Lisa Redfield passed peacefully from this life in the early morning of July 2, 2015, in Jackson, Wyoming. She will be forever in the hearts and minds of so many---and especially Brad Booke, the love of her life, and she the love of his; her dear mother, Betty Redfield; her precious children, J.W. Alexander, Jonathan Alexander, Jody Alexander, and Jamie Alexander, and their loved ones; her beautiful grandchildren, David and Grace Alexander; her sisters, Leanne Johnson and Becky Redfield-Bauer and their families; her brother, Jon Redfield and his family; and many nieces and nephews.

These folks, and many others, celebrated Lisa’s life in a Fourth of July gathering in Lusk, Wyoming, where Lisa spent her childhood and high school years. After attending college at the University of Wyoming, Lisa settled in Moffit Gulch near Bozeman, where she raised her family and where her beautiful smile and laugh became a part of the lives of all who knew her.

After her kids and family, Lisa found her greatest joy in the sights and sounds of mountain rivers and streams, which gave her time for reflection and brought her peace. Lisa’s family will begin a tradition in her honor with the First Annual Lisa Redfield Memorial Madison River Float---to relive and remember the countless hours of fun that Lisa enjoyed so many times in her life. Her loved ones will also try their very best to carry forward Lisa’s special talent for making green things grow, which was another source of great pleasure to her.

Lisa believed passionately in the natural healing power of the human body and spirit. She sacrificed and saved to give herself the opportunity to learn from those who are knowledgeable about natural healing---and she took great satisfaction and pride in becoming a certified bioenergy therapist.

Lisa left this world far too soon---she was only 54---but she believed that all things happened in their own time and for their own reasons. She will have the comfort and company of her father, Leroy, and her brother, Dave, who passed before Lisa. Memorials may be sent to Betty Redfield, Box 1148, Lusk, Wyoming, 82225, who will see to it that Lisa’s dreams endure.

We love you, Lisa.
