Kathy J. Kemler, 48, of Logan, MT passed away from complications from knee surgery on May 28, 2012 in Bozeman, MT. She was born November 10, 1963 to Gordon and Lola (Potter) Clark. Kathy attended Missoula schools. Kathy worked at the Creekside Hotel in Missoula for over 20 years. Kathy liked all kinds of crafts especially needlepoint and drawing. She also loved western art, and horses. She appreciated mountains and loved rock collecting. She also enjoyed walking on the Oregon Coast and collecting sea shells. Kathy loved all things western, she was a true cowgirl. She met her real cowboy; Chance Bernhardt, 7 years ago and they have been inseparable ever since. They made their home together in Idaho, Missoula and Logan. Kathy will be remembered for her soft heart and her bubbly personality. Kathy was honest and had deep inner strength. She was preceded in death by her brother Gordon. Survivors include her mother Lola Marx; her brother Andrew; her uncle George, all of Missoula, MT; Chance Bernhardt of Logan, MT; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Missoula, MT
