Jeane E. Hafford

November 2, 1918 — June 30, 2008

Reverend Jeane E. Hafford, 89 Our beloved Jeane made her transition from this physical life on June 30, 2008. Jean, an ordained minister of the Rosicrucian Fellowship, was a lifetime seeker and teacher of the esoteric mysteries of life and of the Universe. Her perspective was broad and she humanly embraced and practiced the Christian principles of non-judgment, forgiveness and consistent JOY. Jeane loved her garden, the natural world, chocolate pie, all of her feline roommates, and everything purple. Jeane moved from California to Montana to be with her family. She was a character right down to having one blue eye and one brown eye. She was a private person and loved living alone. Even in her declining years she attracted the right people at the right time to assist with her continued independence. John Stiles, the 8 year old next door neighbor boy, developed a bond with Jeane that turned into a nine year relationship that ended with his whole family performing the day to day tasks of allowing her to live alone and independent. There is no more precious gift she could have received. Jeane is survived by her adopted family Steve, Kris, John, and Jeremy Stiles, her sister Ann (Harry) Gardner, her two nieces, Shan Brown and Lynne (Dave) McCormick, all of Bozeman, and a daughter who adopted her, Dr. Valerie Simonsen of Maui, HI. Reverend Jeane E. Hafford; we thank you for sharing your life with us and we send you off with an abundance of Love to your next destination. There will be no formal services.
