Jami Marie Cuddy

June 26, 1986 — April 27, 2019

Jami Cuddy, 32, of Chicago, IL died on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at her parent’s home in Bozeman, MT after an 18-month battle with osteosarcoma cancer. She spent her final weeks in the loving care of her immediate family under home hospice care.



Many close friends and family members were able to visit her and say goodbye shortly before her death. A celebration of life service is being planned in early June in Chicago, as well as a memorial scholarship fund for the CIMBA undergraduate study abroad program in Asolo, Italy. The family asks that extended family and friends donate blood on her birthday anniversary to help other cancer patients.



Jami was born June 26, 1986 to Kim (Burger) and Tim Cuddy in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Park Hill South High School in Riverside, MO where she graduated with academic honors as well as earned multiple varsity letters in both soccer and volleyball.



She attended the University of Arkansas majoring in Marketing and graduated with honors. While attending undergraduate school, Jami studied abroad in both Costa Rica and Italy where she gained and enjoyed multicultural and diverse experiences.



After college, Jami took a position in marketing with Tyson Foods. Several years later she took a year sabbatical and obtained her MBA graduate degree with honors from the University of Iowa via a program that was hosted in Italy. Jami returned to work for Tyson Foods and held various sales and marketing positions in Fayetteville, Boston and finally Chicago.



Jami had a strong passion for new experiences, adventure and travel during her lifetime. She traveled to countries all over the world across all continents, except Antarctica, with family and friends. She made friends easily and was known for her open and positive personality and infectious smile. During her travels she made friends from a variety of diverse countries, cultures and interests and enjoyed them all.



Jami is survived by her parents Kim and Tim Cuddy, her brother Ryan and his significant other Amy Shuler all of Bozeman MT, her maternal grandmother Dorothy Burger of Central City, her paternal grandparents Viona and Jerry Cuddy of O’Neill, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.



She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Jack Burger.
