Jade Epp

April 2, 1990 — January 3, 2011

Jade Ruth Epp, 20, of Bozeman passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 3, 2011 in Tucson, AZ where she was currently studying Psychology at the University of Arizona. She attended Monforton Elementary School, was home-schooled for a short time, and Belgrade Public Schools, graduating a semester early from Bridger Alternative School in 2007. Jade was born in Bozeman on April 2, 1990, and baptized shortly afterwards in the Christian faith. As a child she was involved in the Equinox Theater, where she acted and later volunteered for the children#8217;s summer camp. She was also very active in 4H, raising livestock and skateboarding. At the age of 10 she won a title for Montana State BMX. She started dancing with the Montana Ballet Company at the age of two and continued to dance all styles throughout her life, competing with teams and taking workshops from here to California. Jade was the classic example of the ultimate Montana Girl, enjoying activities such as skiing with her friends at Bridger Bowl, hiking with her dogs Karma and Mya, camping, hunting and canoeing. Jade approached life with radiance and confidence well beyond her years. Jade is survived by her parents, Danial Epp and Anna Markham Epp of Bozeman; grandparents Bob Sedar of Mesa, AZ; Gari Epp and Judy Foster of Dubois, WY; older brother Adam Epp, sister-in-law Molly Williams, and nephew Orion; younger sister Sierra Epp; and close family friends Levi Pippin, Desi Ladd, Ivy Ladd, Jacquie Miller, Cory Schaff, Olivia Hogan, Marcia Wardrop and various aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Journey Church at the corner of Baxter and Love Lane. A celebration of Jade#8217;s passion for life will follow at the Hilton Garden Inn. The family would like anyone who will be joining them for services to feel free to bring pictures or tokens of remembrance. Memorials in Jade#8217;s name may be made to the Equinox Summer Camp, 2304 N. 7th Ave #C1, Bozeman, MT 59715 or to the Dance Alliance, PO Box 4656, Bozeman, MT 59772. #8220;On wings of a hawk she rose from the desert#8230;#8221;
