Irene Virginia Bezold

September 9, 1931 — April 9, 2022

Irene Virginia Bezold, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep after many years battling emphysema on Saturday, April 9, 2022.

She was born on September 9, 1931, to Harry Beeby and Ethel (Green) Beeby in Philadelphia, PA. Irene was the youngest of five children.

Irene and her husband Frank met when they were 14 years and got married when they were 22 years old on March 14, 1953. They celebrated 69 years of marriage in March of 2022. Irene has two children, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Irene’s favorite place was Wildwood Villas, NJ spending the summers with family.


Prior to Irene and her husband Frank moving to West Yellowstone, MT in 1989, to enjoy their retirement together she stayed at home for many years involved in PTA and the Firemen’s Wives events. She then went back to work in a Nursing Home as a Nursing Assistant for 16 years. Irene’s hobbies were crocheting blankets, embroidering baby blankets and collecting music boxes. Irene liked to keep busy even after retiring so she worked part time cleaning rooms in the Motels in West Yellowstone.

 

Irene was predeceased in death by her parents Harry and Ethal Beeby, siblings Harry Jr. (OliveMae) Beeby, Llyod (Mabel) Beeby, Elsie (Ray) DeLarm, Tommy Beeby and her closest nephew Danny Beeby.


Irene is survived by her husband Frank Bezold of West Yellowstone, MT, her daughter Debbie (Bob) Batal of Brussels, WI, her son Dave Bezold (Gerylynn Leddy) of King of Prussia, PA, her grandchildren Heather Lasecki of Appleton, WI, Paul Lasecki of Weyauweega, WI, Ryan (Courtney) Batal of Green Bay, WI, Jesse (Julie) Batal of Green Bay, WI and great-grandchildren Jaydon Lasecki, Ethan Lasecki, Kiara Lasecki and Piper Lasecki, of Weyauweega,WI, Tahya Batal, Ashton Batal, Kendall Batal, Keirstyn Batal and Kenzlee Batal of Green Bay, WI.  


Irene was a wonderful and delightful person to be around. She was loved by her family, friends, coworkers and caregivers.
