Emmett Stanford Lessley

Emmett S. Lessley, 84, left us on May 23, 2022, after a very bad winter. He was born in Murray, Utah, March 26, 1938, to Frank and Jenni Lessley.

Emmett was in the Army, was a champion heavyweight weightlifter and loved to hunt, camp, fish and canoe.

Emmett is survived by his wife Jeri, sons Scott and Kevin, and best dog Amber. He also left three grandchildren and three greats, his sister Barbara Blackwell of Haines, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, his sister Laura, brothers Sherman and twin Frank.

His ashes will be scattered at Wade Lake later this year.
