Elizabeth Waliser

September 3, 1930 — November 29, 2010

On November 29, 2010, Elizabeth (Betty) Waliser passed away in the comforts of her home in Bozeman. She was born September 3, 1930 in San Pedro, California to George and Elizabeth Fox. She came from a large farm family. As a young girl growing up, Betty had fond memories of working beside her parents in the field, some fonder than others. She worked at a dude ranch, perfecting her cooking skills, and they were perfected. She was a wonderful cook. In 1957, Betty met and married Stephen Waliser. Together, they had two daughters, Linda and Laura. They worked side by side to build a wonderful life for their family. She lost her beloved husband, Steve, unexpectedly in 1986. After several years, she met and married Willis Griswold. They were fortunate enough to enjoy each other#8217;s companionship for 10 wonderful years, and parted ways as lifelong friends. Mom was born with a green thumb and was passionate about gardening and her flowers. Her roses were as breathtakingly beautiful as she was and admired by many. With her quick wit and eye for mischief, she always kept you wondering what was next. She will be dearly missed by her family, her daughters Linda and Laura, and her grandchildren, Stevie, and Jon. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her children and grandchildren. #8220;Thank you for everything you have always done for us. You will be in our hearts and souls forever. You were truly loved and will be deeply missed.#8221; - your family. Our family would like to welcome friends to share fond memories on Saturday, December 4, 2010 between 2:00 and 5:00 pm at 13 Chinook Trail. Respecting Mom#8217;s wishes, a graveside service will be held at a later date.
