Donald Berg Schrader

SCHRADER – Donald (Don) B., 84, died suddenly on Christmas Eve after a period of declining health. He is survived by his three children, Nancy Planalp of Bozeman, MT, Lori Schrader of New York, NY, Scott Schrader of Corvalis, OR, daughter-in-law Beth Schrader of Belgrade, MT, and nine grandchildren. He also leaves behind his loving companion of many years, Ilene Brissonneaud of Bozeman, MT. Donald, a long-time Bozeman resident, was born in Wellsville, NY on January 1st, 1930. His job on a seismic crew led him west where he met and married his first wife and mother of his children, Marjorie Leuschen from Jordan, MT. After settling in Montana, he began work as a newspaper typesetter and later joined the World Book Encyclopedia Corporation where he ultimately became a regional manager. In the years that followed, Donald moved to Oregon, Nevada and Utah selling a variety of products along the way. He returned to Montana later in life and renewed a lifetime interest in painting. His portraits hang in private collections in New York, Maine, Oregon and Arizona. Don Schrader -- salesman, charmer, artist, gentle soul – you will be missed.
