David H. Steinberg

David “Dave” H. Steinberg, 73, of Bozeman, MT passed away December 5, 2016. Dave was born in Long Beach, CA on February 2, 1943 to parents Dorothy and Dale Steinberg. The family later moved to Rapid City, SD where he was raised alongside his brother Dean. After Dave’s successful completion of high school, he briefly attended Black Hills State University.

He first met his wife, Karen, during high school. The two were married for 51 years and together raised their two daughters, Lori and Michele. Dave and Karen moved to Denver, CO and then Bozeman, MT. Dave spent his entire career working in various retail sales including sporting goods and hardware. Most recently he worked for Ace Hardware in Bozeman.

Dave enjoyed many hobbies including photography, fishing, hunting, and muzzle loading. He is most remembered for his outgoing personality, which served him well in his work.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Dorothy Steinberg. He is survived by his wife Karen; daughter Michele Steinberg and her daughters, Jordan (special friend Adam) and Kodi; daughter Lori Quinn (Tim) and their sons, Josh (special friend Catalina) and his son Roderick, and Kelton.
