Cecelia Cullen

Cecelia Cullen, 93, of Bozeman, passed away October 27, 2007. She was born November 9, 1914 in Big Timber, MT. Cecelia was an enthusiastic and determined girl. She loved working in the field with her father, and riding and breaking horses. She attended college in Dillon, MT, where she met her future husband Cliff Cullen. They were married June 1, 1933. Cliff was transferred to Bozeman in 1934, where their daughter Joan was born. Following a couple more transfers, the family returned to Bozeman. Cliff opened his own grocery stone, Cullen#8217;s Corner Grocery, on the Corner of Story and Black Avenues. Cecelia helped with the store when needed. She followed her own calling and worked as a dental assistant for several years. Cecelia was very active in her church. She was a teacher in the R.E. program and worked with the women#8217;s various programs. She was involved in the lay ministries, visited the sick and homebound. Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband Cliff, her parents, Winifred and Joseph Lanagan, step-mother Ruth Moschelle, her sister Winifred and Bernadette, Bernadette#8217;s daughter Rosoleta and her step brothers Roger and Van Moschelle. She is survived by her daughter Joan, her son in law Walt, her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Greg and Sandi, their children Greer and Henry, Joe and Sandy, their children Sara and Jillian, Mary and Brent, their children Sydney and Cullen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. In a special way we remember Kay Kuehn, who for many years has been Cecelia#8217;s second #8220;daughter#8221; and special friend. We pray Cecelia is having a wonderful reunion with her Lord and her loved ones in Heaven. A rosary and vigil service will be held 7:00 pm, Sunday November 18, 2007 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Monday, November 19, 2007 at Resurrection Parish.
