Carl D. Lewis

Carl Douglas Lewis, dearly loved husband, father, and grandfather left this world suddenly on August 2nd at the age of 56. Carl was born to parents Benjamin and Frances Lewis in Tennessee, and was raised alongside his three siblings in California. It was there he met his wife Lorraine. Together, they moved to Montana 22 years ago and brought up their three children: Christie, Damian, and Eric.

Carl spent his career building guitars for Gibson guitar. In his spare time, he enjoyed assembling and painting models and was an avid Dark Shadows enthusiast.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Franklin Lewis and Frances Lilly Lewis. He is survived by his wife Lorraine; children Christie Lewis (Roger Krebs) of Belgrade, MT, Damian (Krista) Lewis of Belgrade, MT, Eric Lewis of Bozeman, MT; and two grandchildren.

A memorial will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, August 9th at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Bozeman, MT.
