Ann Daley

January 30, 1942 — April 12, 2008

Ann Sharon Lenon Daley, 66, passed away at the home of her brother in Bozeman on April 12, 2008. She was born to Percy H. and Margaret (Jacobs) Lenon on January 30, 1942 in Kalispell, Montana. Ann married Bill Daley in July of 1962. After completing her degree in Education at University of Montana, she taught at Lakeside Elementary in Lakeside, Montana. She then completed several Master#8217;s Degrees, including Library Science, Reading, and Special Education. In 1982, Ann took a position working as a Reading Specialist for the Department of Defense, which led her overseas. She lived and worked in North and Southeast Germany, Japan, Korea, Newfoundland, Holland, and most recently, Aviano, Italy. Her travels led her to visit six of the seven continents. She retired from the Department of Defense in 1997. She was a lady of many interests and talents. We will miss her much. Ann was preceded in death by the two loves of her life, Bill Daley and Stewart Kienow, and one sister, Jean Schlecton. Survivors include her brother, James (Peg) Lenon of Bozeman, four nieces and one nephew. A Memorial service will be held at Vista Linda in Somers, Montana on July 27, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Memorials may be made in Ann#8217;s name to Rolling Dog Ranch, 400 Rolling Dog Ranch Lane, Ovando, MT 59854.
