Irene is a 3rd generation funeral director . In 1993 she was given the opportunity to move to Bozeman and help at the Bozeman Funeral Home .Irene’s main priority in life has been to care for the people that have needed her help, she has also been active in her professional associations and her community. Irene is a past president of the Montana Funeral Directors Association. She was instrumental and active in organizing and creating an educational documentary for Montana families to help them understand the many choices available to them and dispel the many myths surrounding funerals and cremations. Irene is also an active Rotary (past President) and active in the Bozeman Chamber, having served on the board and is a present green coat.

Mark was born and raised in Billings. He moved to Bozeman in 1997 when he and Irene Dahl were married. They decided that they would try working together at Dahl Funeral Chapel, Bozeman and have been doing so ever since sharing a commitment to provide exceptional, personalized, service to the families who entrust them with the care of their loved ones.

Born and raised in Nebraska, Mark graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas in 1997. Mark worked as a funeral director 12 years in Alaska and most recently in Reno, Nevada before joining us in Bozeman. His experience, diverse knowledge, broad spectrum of interests and compassion are a great asset to Dahl Funeral Chapel.

Joe B. has been helping us with funerals and visitations for 10 years, he is retired from the US Forest Service, and a taught at Montana State University.

Stephanie has been with us since 2007. She works full-time in the office; she also helps with services and going on calls. She is currently attending the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science to become a Funeral Director. Originally from Pocatello, Idaho, Stephanie moved to Bozeman for school and now resides here with her husband, James.

Retired professor from MSU lives in Bozeman with his wife Cathy. He helps with visitations, receptions, funerals and memorials services.

Johna is a Montana native, having grown up in the Flathead Valley then moving to Bozeman to attend MSU. Johna has a wide range of interests including: volunteering in the community, writing, painting, photography, birding, cooking and spending time with close friends. Johna is passionate about helping others, going beyond the call of duty regularly in order to improve the lives around her

Sensitive and caring, Mary Su plays a special part at Dahls. She is retired and helps with services and visitations.

Sarah moved to Bozeman 4 years ago, she works at Gibson guitar during the days and helps Dahls at night and on the weekends. She is talented and plays guitar as well as sings. |

Sean moved to Bozeman with his wife and son in 2008 for the great Montana outdoor experience. He and his family enjoy camping, hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities throughout the year. As our Family Services Counselor, he works directly with families before and after regarding preplanning options and ensuring post service families receive the care they deserve. |
