Dahl Funeral and Cremation Service is owned and managed by myself, Irene Dahl and Mark Peterson (wife & husband). I am a licensed Funeral Director and have been providing service and compassionate care to Bozeman's families since 1993. Mark moved to Bozeman in 1997 he shares a commitment to provide exceptional, personalized service to the families who entrust them with the care of their loved ones

Our family founded Dahl Funeral Chapel in Bozeman in 1939.  We entered a market that had been served for over 40 years by one firm.  Our name was updated in 2001 to Dahl Funeral & Cremation Service.Our staffing consists of two licensed funeral directors and one full time support.  We also have a dozen part time and as needed support staff to assist as business levels fluctuate; they include retirees, students, and staff who prefer to work part time.Our success is measured by the families who return to us, to care for them, generation after generation.

Our facility is located less than a block from Sunset Hills Cemetery, which  is owned by the city of Bozeman.

We are able to accommodate crowds to an excess of 250 people.  We have a large parking lot with plenty of overflow parking.  We also have access to the Elk’s Club next door which provides a wonderful space and catering for a luncheon or reception following your loved ones services.
