Larry and Kenny were a pair of brothers that helped make growing up in Poplar a special place. My Dad thought Howard Sage was one great guy!! When I read that Larry read the encyclopedia two times I smiled because I am sure Tom read it 3 times!!! You all are blessed to be the children of Larry and Ona Vee Sage. Hugs, Glenna

Never had the privilege of meeting your dad, but getting to know all of you, he was a wonderful man. May memories comfort you until you see him again. Love and prayers, Vickie & Jim

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. I won't forget the 'concern' your parents had for our well-being when Peggy and I were nursing students in Butte. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Larry's family. May all the fond memories of him be most lasting to all who had the honor of knowing him as he was an outstanding and most interesting person.

I read your dad's obituary with mixed feelings. First of all, I want your whole family to know that I am sorry. Also, you are all in my prayers. I know it's difficult to lose a parent and it sounds like your dad was a great man. But -- it also brought up some very sweet memories of Marcia. Marcia and I were roommates at Girls State in Bozeman in 1968 (is that right?) I was from Glasgow and now live in Billings. We had a grand, fun time together!! She was so sweet. Please let her know that I am trying to connect with her and wish her well. Blessings to all of you -- Penny

Sage Friends My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Your dad, like your mother, was a really good person. I have fond memories of stopping by the house and visiting with them when in Poplar.

Larry as well as Ona Vee where very good friends. Gene served on the Bank board with both Ona Vee and Bill, and golfed and played softball with Larry as well, and Beulah and Ona Vee were in the same bridge club for years. Larry was one of the most loyal men we have met, he never forgot a friend and would be the first to offer aid. It is hard to describe what he meant to others as in his own quite way he influenced the way of life for many who knew him. We have lost a good man. Our sincerests condolences to his family.

I think that you parents sent more kids to college than any other family. They were wonderful neighbors.

Peg, Bill and all the Sage family, So sorry to read of your dad's passing. Not matter how long we have our parents, it's never quite long enough. Thinking of all of you.

My deepest sympathy in the passing of our dear Larry...Such a presence...the Sage families in Poplar...and Larry and Kenny were surely pillars of the community...as were Dorris and Ona Vee. Having lost my own dear parents, I can surely identify with your feelings...Sending my prayers and condolences to each one of you, Kay Dell Clark Parratt

Dear Sage family, My condolences to your family of the passing of your father. I remember your dad as a very friendly person and a great neighbor. As I spent time at your house he was always interested in what I was doing. He certainly was an asset for Poplar and his positive presence reflected his love of life. My God be with you all during this time and may you have a great time as you spend time together as a family. Rudy Evenson Boise, Idaho

Sending sincere sympathy to the entire family. He was a truly wonderful person. And "the Sage kids" set a wonderful example for the rest of us Poplar kids.
