Obituaries

Dianne Mary Jacks, 68, of Bozeman, passed away July 3, 2012, in Billings, MT. She was born October 15, 1943 in Oakland, CA to Albert and Mary (Sciarini) Langerman. She graduated from Castlemont High School in Oakland.
Dianne married Robert Jacks on May 22, 1971 in Reno, NV; they made their home in Napa, CA, where they raised their four sons, before moving to Bozeman in 2004.
Dianne was a creative and crafty person, she loved to sew and every year made the boys Halloween costumes, she would look forward to spending hours working in the sewing room. Her family and her home were the recipients of her handiwork. She was also a master cake decorator, and worked for Baskin Robbins for many years decorating ice cream cakes.
Before her health took a turn she also loved being outside at the family cabin and gardening, especially tending to her rose bushes.
She was a devoted mother and her grandchildren gave her much joy.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary “Dollie” Langerman.
Survivors include her husband Robert “Bob” of Bozeman, MT; four sons, James Jacks of Belgrade, MT, John Jacks of Napa, CA, Jeffrey “JJ” (Heather) Jacks of Belgrade, MT, Joseph (Megan) Jacks of Belgrade, MT; sister Sandy of Shingle Springs, CA; and six beautiful grandchildren Jacob, Jared, Johnny, Jace, Reese and Madeline.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Family and friends please meet at Dahl Funeral Chapel at 10:45 am to process to the cemetery.
